Quality Inspector – CNC Machine Shop

Day shift Monday to Friday
The Quality Inspector will work as part of a team to provide first off, patrol and final inspection of engineered components within specified tolerances and clearly identify discrepancies utilising manual measuring tools, CMM and other electronic equipment.
The ideal Quality Inspector will be:
- Apprentice trained to a minimum of City and Guilds qualifications
- Computer literate to complete Visual FAIRS (software capability)
The Quality Inspector will have experience / knowledge in:
- Visual Inspection
- Performing First Article Inspection
- Competent using hand-held measuring equipment and CMM’s
- Ability to competently read and understand manufacturing drawing requirements including geometric tolerances
- Understand and complete manufacturing documentation
- Non-conformance process
- Provide calibration expertise to tooling and finished product
- Preferably have CMM programming skills (Software – Aberlink, QCT, Mitutoyo)
This role would suit an experience Production Inspector who has worked within a machine shop environment preferably gained in the aerospace and / or nuclear sector. You will have a good eye for detail and methodical approach.

- Day shift is Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00 hours and Friday 07:00-13:00 hours
